Nicola Spencer – Director
Nicola Spencer MNAEA MARLA is the daughter of Jim and Anne Spencer, founders of Spencers Agents in 1993. Nicola worked within the company from 1996 until 2008 when she followed her heart to live in Edinburgh working within property companies in the Scottish Capital, as well as coordinating meetings and events as Secretary for the NAEA (National Association of Estate Agents) Scotland branch. Nicola is also a REPS Levels Two and Three Pilates Instructor, and teaches in her spare time.

Lee Bullen – Director
Lee was involved in professional football for over 20 years before becoming a Director and joint-owner of Spencers Agents Ltd. Lee played in Australia, Hong Kong, Greece, Scotland and England, where he captained Sheffield Wednesday to promotion in 2005. Prior to joining Spencers, he was Assistant Manager at Falkirk Football Club and completed a BA (Hons.) Degree in Sports Media and Broadcasting. Lee is fluent in Greek and has had a ‘real’ job before, having worked with the Alliance & Leicester for five years after leaving school.

James Bridgland – Senior Sales Valuer
James was born and raised in Sheffield, attending Nether Green Schools and then Tapton, before graduating with a degree in Business Economics at Nottingham Trent University, followed by a post graduate diploma in Property Management and Valuation at Sheffield Hallam University. He first joined Spencers in 1999, and rejoined in 2008 as Senior Valuer, following a spell of five years working with another property company in the city. He lives with his young son and fiancé in Ranmoor and enjoys football and golf in his spare time.

Ben Newman – Sales Negotiator
Ben has been with Spencers since 2005 during which time he has successfully built and maintained strong client relations through his negotiations and regular solicitor contact. Originally from Wiltshire, Ben relocated to Sheffield following graduating from Sheffield Hallam University with an Honours degree in Urban Land Economics. In order to best advise our vendors, he keeps a keen eye on current market trends by recording and analysing all of our sales information and statistics. Ben is our resident Barry Norman, watching many films each week and reporting back to staff about the ones to watch and those to avoid, he also has a keen interest in travel to far away lands and health and fitness.

Sally Potter – Sales Negotiator
Sally joined Spencers in 2006 after her graduation from Manchester University with a degree in Art and Architecture. Originally starting work in the rental department she transferred to work as a sales negotiator in 2007. As a property Negotiator Sally deals with both vendors and buyers from start to finish throughout the sales process keeping everyone informed at every juncture. Sally has an excellent reputation for relationship building and her gentle manner is a refreshing change from the ‘typical’ hard-selling sales person. Sally is engaged to an Executive Manager of a local law firm, who is an incredible chef, and has a keen interest in fitness and health.

Maggie Desay – Receptionist
Maggie joined the company in 2006 having previously worked in the estate agency field in Sheffield for around 12 years. Maggie came to Sheffield in 1987 after spending ten years in the Royal Navy in the communications branch for submarines, including time with the Royal Marines in Scotland, and time in Hong Kong supervising communications between The Royal Yacht and HMS Tamar. Maggie was part of the Royal Tournament as a Scottish dancer featured at the Royal Albert Hall for the remembrance festival; she was also on duty when Charles and Diana got married and has done nine solo parachute jumps.
